Being born in the early 60’s on a full, working farm in rural southern Middle Tennessee, I had, for the most part, a normal childhood. At least as normal as you could have with 2 older sisters and 2 older brothers. We moved off the farm when I was 7 years old and basically, moved into town. Going through school, I always had a knack for writing. Whenever the teacher asked us to write some sort of story, the words would just flow. Oddly enough, it never occurred to me to try and make it my career. Well, skip ahead 45 years and jobs in the restaurant, cleaning, printing and sign industries; I got to noticing that I had these stories bouncing around in my head that needed to come out. So one day, I came home from work and told my wife and my son, “You know those stories I’ve been telling you about? Well, I’m going to put them down into a uniform order and make books out of them.” Well, I started to do that and the rest, as they say, is history. Now I haven’t quit my job yet but I do enjoy telling you my stories and I hope you enjoy reading them.
